Lamont was born in Philadelphia, Pa and currently resides in Newark, Delaware with His wife Cardella, 5 children and 3 grandchildren. He received GED and Honorable Discharge from the United States Army in 1971. As a single parent of three son's he found Christ in 1990. He founded Innovative Treatment Alternatives, Inc. a non-profit organization in 1992.  He was ordained a Deacon at Holy Trinity Bethlehem Prebyterian in 2000. His search for a better understanding of the word lead him to New Church of Redemption.
