Pastor Tanya Pia
Tanya was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She has been singing since the tender age of 5 in her parent’s church where her father, Bishop Joe Goldsmith, a renowned artist in the Gospel Quartet arena and her mother, the late Evangelist Jessie Goldsmith were the Pastors.
At the age of 9, Tanya Pia’ was featured on television in which she performed with “Pilgrim Church” for the late Archbishop Roy E. Brown’s televised Christian Christmas production. Two years later at age 11, she performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. By the age of 16, she became part of the “The CD Hawkins Group.” The group won the “McDonald’s Gospel Fest” and “The Sony Innovator Awards” held at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Tanya Pia’ has also performed in the Film Documentary, “The Handicapped Children” for a Disabled Foundation. Her stage performances include “Walk in the Light” and “God’s Creation.” She has worked for artists and producers such as Stephanie Mills, Mariah Carey, Al Green, Brandy, New Kids on the Block and Rodney Jerkins aka” Darkchild,” to name a few. To add to her accomplishments, Tanya Pia’ has been featured in the “Daily News” quoting her voice – “Making A Joyful Noise.”

In addition to her musical training by her father, she accredits her development to her late Pastor, Apostle Cassandra Cameron-White. It was under this musical and prophetic tutelage of 18 years, Tanya Pia’ was transformed into a Psalmist, Musical Arranger, Writer, MC Hostess of the NewVOH’ Cafe, Praise and Worship Leader and installed as an Elder.
In August of 2017, Tanya Pia’ released her album entitled “I’ll Worship,” which is available in I-tunes, Amazon Music, Apple Music and other digital platforms.
Obeying God in the transitioning of her life, Tanya Pia is also the Co-Host of “Sounds in the Street,” a part of ” Faith & Sports with The Rev & Ryan.”
Tanya takes no credit for who she is, but attributes all of the glory to ONLY the Lord Jesus Christ with whom she wholeheartedly believes, without she is nothing!
